Aurangabad, Aug. 2 -- Total 863 fresh cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) were reported across the eight districts of Marathwada region on Saturday.
Besides, a total of 23 casualties were also reported in the eight districts.
With this, the total number of fatalities reached 865 in these districts, while COVID-19 tally in the region mounted to 24,388.
On a positive front, 16112 were cured and discharged. Rest of the active cases are undergoing treatment at different hospitals and Covid care centres in the region.
