Bhopal, Nov. 28 -- Emphasising that respect for women is the Bharatiya Janata Party's foremost priority, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said on Sunday that state Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister Bisahulal Singh has tendered a public apology for his recent statement.
"Reverence for mothers, sisters and daughters is a vital issue for the state government and myself. They are comparable to goddesses and the dispensation is running numerous schemes for their welfare," Mr Chouhan wrote in social media.
