Mumbai, July 23 -- Maharashtra on Friday reported 6,753 new COVID cases and 167 fatalities, informed official health bulletin.
With the new additions, the state's cumulative case tally surged to 62,51,810 and the toll to 1,31,205, respectively.
On the other hand, 5,979 patients were discharged during the day across the state, taking overall count of recoveries to 60,22,485.
The state's recovery rate and the fatality rate stood at 96.34 per cent and 2.09 per cent, respectively.
Presently, there are 94,769 active cases across the state, bulletin added.
