Kolhapur, Aug. 25 -- The state government has distributed Rs 64.65 crore in cash as financial aids so far in two severely flood affected districts Kolhapur and Sangli as a first installment.

According to official reports, in Kolhapur district total RS 32,10,30,000 has been distributed as financial aids to total 48,589 families in rural areas and 15,617 in city areas while total 615.95 metric tonne wheat and rice has distributed to 61,595 famies per twenty kg as free of cost.
