Imphal, June 29 -- Manipur Police nabbed two persons with liquor here on Wednesday.
Police said a team of Reserve Line deployed at Lamlong bridge, Imphal East conducted random frisking and checking at Lamlong bridge area.
A truck was detained and searched. Police said 2400 cans of beer and 756 bottles of whisky were found and two persons identified as Johnson Singh and Chandrama Sah were detained.
The seized liquor, vehicle used in transport along with the occupants were handed over to Excise for further necessary legal action.
