Puducherry, Feb. 11 -- Puducherry Lt.Governor Kiran Bedi on Tuesday held a meeting with officials of National Institute of Public Finance and Policy (NIPFP), deputed by Ministry of Home Affaris to look at financial management of the UT, along with Puducherry Budget officers.
Dr Bedi in a Whatsapp posting said that they discussed the financial position in Puducherry and how could it be better both in revenue generation, savings, expenditures, planning and other means. .
There was a deep concern on the loss making Public Sector Units (PSUs) and also on several poorly managed societies not in compliance with rules and law of Societies Act as well as the Companies Act.
