Bengaluru, Oct. 16 -- Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka and senior BJP leader Ashwathnarayana sprang a surprise on Friday, when he reached out to meet senior Congress leader and former Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president Raghuveer Reddy and held talks with him.
According to party sources, the BJP leader met Mr Reddy in Karnataka and sought his support for the BJP candidate, fighting the by-elections to the Assembly seat.
The leaders, during their luncheon meeting, also discussed about the political developments, both in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, sources said here.
