Beijing, Aug. 11 -- External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar arrived in the Chinese capital on Sunday to have talks on bilateral and regional issues and the second informal summit between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Xi Jinping in India in October.
During the visit, he will co-chair the second meeting of the India-China High Level Mechanism on Cultural and People-to-People Exchanges (HLM) on Monday with State Councillor and Foreign Minister of China Wang Yi.
Monday's HLM meeting will provide an opportunity to follow up on the outcomes of the first HLM meeting and discuss new initiatives for enhancing people-to-people exchanges between our two countries.
