Shimla, Jan. 9 -- Himachal Pradesh High Court on Wednesday directed Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Dharamshala, to submit status report in connection with unauthorized constructions identified in different areas of Municipal Corporation and action initiated or proposed in this regard.
He was further asked to instruct Enforcement staff of the Engineering Wing to visit different areas of the corporation once in fortnight and submit a report with respect to illegal construction suspected by them and owner of such premises to be asked to explain within one week and in case the construction is found to be illegal, all lawful measures to be taken immediately to prevent unauthorized action.
