Panaji, Jan. 14 -- The health condition of Union Minister of State for Defence and AYUSH (Independent Charge) Shripad Naik is improving and he is responding to treatment, according to a doctor of Goa Medical College (GMC) and Hospital.
Mr Naik (68) is receiving treatment at GMC where he was admitted on January 12, 2021, after he was injured in a road accident in Karnataka.
He is being monitored by doctors of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).
A medical bulletin from GMC said Mr Naik was reviewed by doctors of AIIMS who arrived in the state on January 12, 2020.
