Hamirpur (HP), Aug. 1 -- A pall of gloom descended on the native village of Sepoy Rohan Kumar when the sad news of his martyrdom, during a shelling on Indo-Pakistan border, reached on Friday night.
The 25-year-old Kumar hailed from Galore khas village of the district and was to be married in November this year.
He was posted in Poonch sector in the 14th Punjab regiment in year 2016. The father of the martyr is working as a halwai in Amritsar and people of the area are shocked over this incident.
Earlier too, Ankush Kumar of Karohta village of Bhoranj area of the district had lost his life while fighting with Chinese in the Galwan sector of Jammu and Kashmir.
