Srinagar, June 12 -- Reiterating that "pandit community" is an essential element of Kashmiriyat, former Chief Minister Dr Farooq Abdullah on Wednesday said he will rejuvenate efforts to bring them back with dignity.

Dr Abdullah, while addressing a delegation of pandits who met him here said, "the need of the hour is to defeat the vested interests that are hell being to fashion the wedge between two communities-Pandits and Muslims".
