Panaji, Dec. 14 -- Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat and Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) President Girish Chodankar on Saturday called on Goa Governor Satya Pal Malik in New Delhi to know about the assurance given to him by the Prime Minister on Mhadei issue.
According to statement here, both leaders also raised the issue of 15th Finance Commission and urged the Governor to ensure that Goa's interest was protected.
The Governor informed both the leaders that the Prime Minister had given him a categorical assurance to resolve the Mhadei issue.
