Washington, Jan. 19 -- Despite the orders by outgoing President Donald Trump to lift travel bans for people from the UK, much of EU and Brazil, these will stay in place even as President-elect Joe Biden prepares to take office, a spokeswoman for Biden said on Monday. According to the order signed by Trump the entry ban would end on 26 January - six days after Mr Biden takes office. But Mr Biden's spokeswoman, Jen Psaki, tweeted that now was not the time to be easing travel measures, especially with the discovery of the more contagious variants of the coronavirus.
