Palghar, June 28 -- Palghar administration has decided to rope in teachers as well as students of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) and the National Service Scheme (NSS) for sensitizing people and strictly enforcing the curbs as the COVID-19 trajectory rises here.

Collector Kailas Shinde took the decision on Saturday in a review meet attended by DSP Dattatreya Shinde, District Civil Surgeon Dr Kanchan Wanere and District Health Officer Dr Dayanad Suryavanshi.

With 3,930 pandemic cases and 117 fatalities in this district so far, the Collector resolved to take stern action against the violators.
