Hyderabad, July 6 -- BJP Telangana unit Chief Spokesperson K Krishna Saagar Rao on Monday demanded Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao to take steps to increase the hospital beds in the state, especially in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) limits.
There has been a steep increase in the infection rate and new positive COVID-19 cases are spiking on a daily basis, he said.
In a statement here, Mr Rao said, there are an average of over 1000 COVID-19 positive cases per day in the state. " BJP demands admission of COVID-19 patients into Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (TIMS) in Gachibowli with immediate effect.
What is the point of building this health infrastructure without using it in need", he asked....
