Shimla, Aug. 5 -- As many as 29 police frontline covid warrier contracted to the novel coronavirus in the
state as medical screening of 7,027 police personnel was medical screened in the state.
This was stated by the Director General of Police Mr Sanjay Kundu while addressing a press conference on
the issue here on Wednesday.
He said that during the pandemic about 5,195 police personnel were screened for health Check up in 13 district police stations and health issues were found among 269 police Jawan.
As many as six cases found were positive in Una district, five each were found positive in Baddi Barotiwala and Nalagarh police district, Solan and Chamba district, four in Kinnuar, three in Bilaspur and one in Kangra.
