Kadapa, March 26 -- District Superintendent of Police KKN Amburajan on Thursday suspended Sub-inspector of Police Vara Prasad for allegedly thrashing a youth for coming to the road during lockdown period.
The suspended Sub-inspector (traffic) in Rayachoti town, ''mercilessly thrashed a youth with lathi for coming on the road during lockdown period".
The sub-inspector beating the youth with lathi went viral in the social media. Responding to the incident, the SP suspended the Sub-inspector of police.
