Kochi, March 26 -- Five persons, who were admitted to the Government Medical College Hospital in Kalamassery, here were discharged on Thursday.
Ernakulam District Collector S Suhas said they had tested negative for coronavirus and left hospital. The discharged included an Italy-returned family from Kannur, a couple and their child, and two British citizens.
Another British citizen who was included in the tourist group from Munnar, had tested negative for Coronavirus, But he is under treatment at the hospital and 75 per cent of his pneumonia has been cured.
His condition is stable and responding to the treatment, Resident Medical Officer Dr Ganesh Mohan said.
