Puducherry, Oct. 18 -- As many as 177 more persons were tested positive for COVID-19 in the union territory in the last 24 hours, a health bulletin stated on Sunday.
The union territory presently has 4,277 active cases here with no deaths being reported in the last 24 hours.
According to the bulletin, 131 new cases were reported in Puducherry region, 24 in Karaikal, 6 in Yanam and 16 in Mahe region.
As many as 306 persons were discharged in the last 24 hours. 207 of them were from Puducherry region, 54 from Karaikal, 13 from Yanam and 32 from Mahe region.
