Puducherry, June 14 -- Coronavirus new cases in the Union Territory of Puducherry are coming down gradually with 309 more persons tested positive for COVID-19 and seven patients died since the last 24 hours, ending at 10 AM, on Monday.
With this, the infection tally rose to 1,12,837 and deaths to 1,691.
According to the COVID-19 status released by the health department here, of the 7,657 swab sample tests conducted on Sunday, 309 persons tested positive for the virus.
As many as 240 new cases were reported in Puducherry region, 47 in Karaikal region, eight in Yanam region and 14 in Mahe region.
About 686 persons were discharged in the last 24 hours. Of them, 526 were from Puducherry region, 125 from Karaikal region, 20 from Yanam region...
