Kolkata, Jan. 10 -- A week-long phase 3 course of Premier Skill coaching began on
Thursday at the Netaji Subhash Eastern Centre in Salt Lake here with 18 men and
women from across India, who will gain the skills and knowledge needed to qualify as
Premier Skills Coach Educators.
The coaching programme is being run in partnership between the British Council,
Premier League, Sports Authority of India (SAI) and the All India Football Federation
(AIFF). Led by Premier Skills coach educators Jez Weeks and Paul Hughes, the
course will enable the 18 men and women taking part to successfully run their own
training courses for coaches in their own communities.
