Gangtok, Feb. 23 -- Chief Minister PS Tamang attended the International conclave, here on Monday.

Sikkim and North Bengal Buddhist conclave was organized by the Indian Himalayan Council of Nalanda Buddhist tradition in collaboration with the Union Ministry of Culture, New Delhi.

It was supported by the Department, of Ecclesiastical Affairs, Sikkim.

CM Tamang addressing the gathering in the presence of Shakti Sinha, Director of International Buddhist Confederation, referred to the role of the Himalayan region in the face of change and challenges.
