Gangtok, Feb. 7 -- National Vice-President of BJP M Chuba called on Governor Ganga Prasad at Rajbhawan here on Sunday, during his two-day organisational tour to this hill state.
According to state BJP chief R Giri, Dr Chuba is scheduled to go to Guwahati on Monday.
Dr Chuba met the party workers at Singtam, the state headquarters of the saffron party, located in East Sikkim.
He urged the state party functionaries, led by Party President DB Chuahan, to make the public of Sikkim aware of the Budget and its benefits to them.
The meeting was also attended by seven BJP MLAs, added Dr Giri.
