Lucknow, Aug. 19 -- Bhim Army, led by Dalit youth leader Chandrashekhar Azad 'Ravan', has announced the launch of its youth wing.
Bhim Army Students Federation (BASF) was launched in Lucknow on Sunday which was inaugurated by Chandrashekhar himself.
The Dalit leader told reporters here on Monday that the aim of BASF is to make students of Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC) and Religious Minorities aware about both their rights and duties.
Bhim Army head said, ''Students from backward classes are charged exorbitant fees and exploited in the university space. The BASF will not just prepare the Bahujan students to lead society but instill in them, a sense of responsibility towards the country.''
