Tirupati, April 16 -- KVN Chakradhar Babu, returning officer of the Tirupati Lok Sabha by-election said that all arrangements were completed for the polling by 24, 50, 699 voters spread over 7 assembly segments on Saturday, April 17 .
Briefing media on Friday he said 29 candidates were in fray including NOTA and voting will be in 3526 polling stations of Nellore and Chittoor districts where section 144 enforced till 7 pm on April 18 Main contestants were YSRCP, TDP, INC BJP and left parties.
He said the election commission has set up webcasting in remote and sensitive polling stations and as per Covid guidelines medical camps were also arranged besides summer shades, drinking water and security etc.
