New Delhi, Nov. 29 -- The Supreme Court on Friday ruled that no coercive action be taken against Bollywood actor, Salman Khan, for allegedly hurting religious sentiment by producing a film 'LoveYatri.' A Justice Deepak Gupta-headed bench today also made its 2018 interim order absolute. On the last date of hearing, the bench had stayed the FIRs filed again Salman, which alleged that the film hurt religious sentiments as the title was a distortion of the name of the Hindu festival "Navratri" and demeaned the garba dance. All criminal proceedings against Salman Khan arising out of the film 'Loveyatri,' were quashed, his counsel, Nizam Pasha, said.
