Dhaka, March 8 -- In the opening match of Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League (DPDCL), Abahani Limited on Friday beat Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan (BKSP) by 60 runs with the help of Jahurul Islam's steady hundred at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.

Abahani posted 216/9 in 50 overs while batting first but BKSP tumbled for 156/10 in 40.5 overs.

BKSP won the toss and decided to bowl first. They scalped four of Abahani wickets in 53 runs.

Kaushal Silva, the Sri Lankan recruit of Abahai, was the first man to get dismissed. He fell for seven by right-arm medium pacer Sumon Khan. Nazmul Hossain Shanto fell for a duck while playing Abu Naser, a pacer of BKSP.
