Bangladesh, Oct. 24 -- Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate (CIID) officials at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport seized 68 gold bars from a flight which returned from Abu Dhabi on Friday.

Acting on a tip-off, the customs officials searched an Abu Dhabi returned flight at 10:20 am where they found the gold bars which were concealed under an empty passengers' seat, said sources at the Customs Intelligence.

The market price of the gold bars weighing 7.88 kilograms would be approximately Tk 73.28 lakh, or nearly 7.5 milliob
