India, April 22 -- With endless white sandy beaches, fresh sea air, and a unique Wadden Sea, the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Borkum is a place of longing for nature lovers. The island is located in northern Germany and is a popular holiday destination. And it's not just travellers who benefit from the location-tourism to the island provides around 10,000 jobs in the region, with approximately 2.4 million overnight stays per year.
