India, Aug. 24 -- Confirming its much-awaited decision, the Central Government has announced the lifting of all restrictions on inter-state and intra-state travel in the country. Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla has written to all Union Territories (UT), and State and Chief Secretaries to allow both inter-state and intra-state travel. Not just that, he has also conveyed that any form of restrictions imposed by states or UTs will count as a violation of the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.
