India, Nov. 13 -- With an AQI of 428 on November 11, 2025, New Delhi entered the 'severe' category for the first time this year, after remaining in the 'very poor' zone for the past few days. Following this, the Commission of Air Quality Management (CAQM) has implemented Stage Three of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP). Needless to say, the plummeting air quality, which at the current AQI poses a threat to even the healthiest of individuals, is nudging Delhiites to pack their bags for a refreshing sojourn, offering lighter and fresher air. We, at Travel+Leisure Asia, have put together a list of destinations in India where the AQI is less than 40, at present.
