India, Nov. 7 -- Operations at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport were disrupted on November 7, 2025, after a technical fault affected the Air Traffic Control (ATC) system, delaying more than 100 flights. The Airports Authority of India (AAI) confirmed that its technical teams are working with Delhi Airport to restore normal operations "at the earliest".

The issue has been traced to the Automatic Message Switching System (AMSS), a key network supporting ATC data. With controllers now processing flight plans manually, delays have rippled across domestic and international routes.

"We appreciate the understanding and cooperation of all passengers and stakeholders," AAI said in an official statement on X.
