As the nation mourns the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul announced the official start of the mourning period last Saturday, October 25. As per Bangok Post, he also advised the public "to act in accordance with what is appropriate", and asked entertainment venues to suspend or minimise entertainment activities for the next 30 days.
