India, Dec. 31 -- Fredericksburg, a charming town in the middle of Texas wine country, has a new luxury hotel that honors the community's rich history and German roots.

Albert Hotel, which opened earlier this year, honors Albert Keidel, an architect, collector, and prominent local figure. Keidel's family was among the first in Fredericksburg, helping create the town that so many Texans today love. However, Keidel was also an avid traveler, collecting inspiration from places around the globe and then incorporating it into local buildings. Albert Hotel pays homage to his legacy, restoring several historic buildings on Main Street and infusing them with his unmistakable globetrotting style.
