India, June 26 -- Danes will be able to fly directly to Mumbai in almost nine hours when Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) launches a new service from Copenhagen starting next year. Significantly shortening the time spent on layovers on this route, the non-stop flights with Airbus A330 aircraft will operate five times a week. Following government approval, this will mark Scandinavian Airlines' return to India after a 17-year absence.
