India, April 30 -- Not very long ago, the fabric of community was tied to the very essence of what it means to be human. The tag of "social animal" was the definition of how we lived. But when the tides shifted as the pandemic struck, there was a quiet yet palpable change in what we perceive of connection and belonging, all clashing with the involuntary solitude that came along as the world found itself in a standstill. When the shutters were lifted, reaching normalcy was a difficult ride, and while business continued to stand back on foot, community interaction had fractured, not beyond repair, but turning into an unfamiliar territory.
