India, Nov. 3 -- The Delhi government introduced the Pink Saheli Smart Card on November 2, 2025, an initiative designed to make commuting safer and more accessible for women and transgender individuals across the capital. Under the scheme, women, girls, and transgender passengers aged 12 and above can travel free of charge on Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) and cluster buses.
While it grants complimentary rides on DTC and cluster buses, it can also be topped up or recharged for use across other transit systems in the city.

Issued under the National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) framework, the personalised Pink Saheli Smart Card will feature the holder's name and photograph.
