India, Sept. 3 -- India's Ministry of Home Affairs has issued a new directive allowing citizens of Nepal and Bhutan to enter India without the requirement of a visa or passport. This directive also applies to Indian citizens entering the country by land or air from Nepal and Bhutan. Issued following the implementation of the Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025, the order also exempts members of the Indian naval, military, and air forces who are entering or exiting India on duty, as well as their family members accompanying them on government transport.
