India, June 6 -- ndian boxer Nikhat Zareen still remembers her first time flying. "It was 2011. I was 15 and had qualified for the IBA [International Boxing Association] Women's Youth and Junior World Boxing Championships in Antalya, Turkey," she recalls. "I was so nervous. Everything was new to me."
That trip marked her first global win-a gold in the 50kg flyweight category-and her first brush with international travel. But beyond the podium, Antalya left a lasting impression. "We had a day off after the semi-finals and explored the city. I was awestruck by the ocean and waterfalls. I had never seen anything like it before," she says.
