India, May 6 -- Noor Jahan began her journey in sports on the frozen ponds of Ladakh, overcoming immense challenges to excel in ice hockey. Since 2016, she has proudly represented India in numerous international tournaments. She was named Best Goalkeeper of the Tournament at the 2016 Challenge Cup of Asia in Chinese Taipei. Beyond sports, she is an accomplished art conservator, leading the Shesrig Foundation, an art conservation practice and Ladakh's only conservation studio. Through her work, she empowers women both in ice hockey and heritage conservation, preserving Ladakh's rich culture, all while inspiring the next generation.
