India, Feb. 12 -- Lucknow's Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport (CCSI) will undergo a runway recarpeting project from March 1 to July 15, 2025, resulting in a daily closure from 10 am to 6 pm. While flights will operate outside this window, the project will impact approximately 1,088 flights over 136 days.

The airport is also upgrading its airfield ground lighting system by replacing halogen lights with eco-friendly LED alternatives. In a move towards sustainability, Lucknow Airport aims to reduce its power consumption by 50 percent following maintenance.
