India, Oct. 17 -- India is likely to host the centenary edition of the Commonwealth Games in 2030, two decades after hosting the games for the first time in 2010 in New Delhi. Ahmedabad in Gujarat has been confirmed as the proposed host city for the centenary edition of the games. Under the Games Reset principles of the Commonwealth Games, both India and Nigeria submitted proposals to host the upcoming edition of the Games.
