India, May 8 -- Indian Railways is expanding its fleet of Amrit Bharat Express trains, with plans to introduce 50 new services in the 2025-26 financial year. According to reports, the Howrah-Chennai Amrit Bharat Express is among the key upcoming routes, offering faster and more affordable long-distance travel along one of India's busiest railway corridors.
This Amrit Bharat Express train connection between Howrah Junction (HWH) and MGR Chennai Central (MAS) will halt at several pivotal stations en route, including Kharagpur Junction, Baleshwar, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road Junction, Vizianagram, Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada Junction, Tenali Junction, Ongole, and Gudur Junction.
