India, Oct. 31 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to unveil tourism and development projects worth INR 1,140 crore in Gujarat during his two-day visit to mark Rashtriya Ekta Diwas. The celebrations coincide with the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. On October 30, the PM also released a special INR 150 commemorative coin and a postage stamp dedicated to Patel.

The development projects across Gujarat are focused on improving infrastructure around the Statue of Unity in Ekta Nagar, Kevadia. The initiatives are also expected to promote sustainability and boost tourism.
