India, March 2 -- Greenland is expanding its aviation network with new airports and flight routes to strengthening global connectivity. Nestled between the Arctic and Atlantic oceans, the autonomous territory is building two new international airports in Ilulissat and Qaqortoq, slated for completion by 2026. New flight routes are also on the horizon. Nuuk International Airport, which features a massive 2,200 m runway equipped for large aircraft operations, was inaugurated on November 28, 2024.
