India, July 24 -- The Sikkim Government is planning to offer tourist access to Doklam and Chola as part of the Central Government's Battlefield Tourism Programme, named Rannbhoomi Darshan. Located near the tri-junction area of India, Bhutan, and China, Doklam is a disputed region that was the site of a 73-day military action between India and China in 2017.

Rannbhoomi Darshan is a unique Indian initiative that invites civilians to explore the country's military heritage by visiting iconic battlefields in rugged terrains and honouring the bravery of its war heroes.
