Taking everything out for screening during security checks, forgetting to pack a travel adapter, and - arguably the most panic-inducing one - arriving in a new country with not enough phone battery. Over the last decade, compact chargers have become a go-to solution for this all-too-common mishap. However, just before the summer travel season, airlines are reassessing the safety of handheld power banks, with many outright banning their use during flights.
