India, Oct. 13 -- Get ready for a smoother, stamp-free entry into Europe. The EU's Entry/Exit System (EES) is set to revolutionise border control for non-EU visitors to the 29 Schengen countries. Launched on October 12, 2025, this innovative automated system replaces manual passport stamping with digital registration, streamlining short-stay visits. EES 2025 applies to non-EU nationals, i.e., travellers who are not nationals of any European Union country, or of Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, or Switzerland, according to the European Commission website.
