India, Aug. 18 -- As the rising number of COVID-19 cases ring an alarm, the Bihar government, through an official announcement, declared an extension of the lockdown in the state. Lockdown in Bihar will now be in effect till September 6. By Kumar Shree

On one side, the nation has entered the Unlock 3.0 phase, and on the other, many states are still struggling to contain the spread of the Coronavirus outbreak. Bihar is one of them, and the state government has no other resolve but to extend the lockdown till September 6.
